Five Best Vegan Watches

Vegan Watches by Votch

Not that we like to judge or anything… but you can pretty much tell what someone’s like from their shoes and their watch, right? Fitbits aside, if you’re wearing a watch, you need it to be both stylish as well as cruelty-free – which these days simply could not be easier, as there are several 100% vegan companies with a huge range of styles, colours and materials to suit your preference. Take your pick from the best vegan watches below.

Vegan Watches Votch Classic Watch in Rose Gold with Black Strap

The Classic Collection Watch in Black & Rose Gold by Votch

Votch is THE vegan watches company whose creations grace the wrists of every vegan and ethical fashionista, magazine editor and blogger. Having launched a sell-out first collection at the end of 2016, they have since sold thousands of vegan watches all over the world, and now have four collections to choose from. You can see why they’re so successful – contemporary designs, on-trend colour palettes, superb quality watches, and a moving brand story (see my Immaculate Interview with Laura Way, Votch’s founder). From their launch collection that is still going strong, this classic black and rose gold style is available in a range of colours, and has a large watch face (38mm) for a strong look, that’s suitable for both men and women.

Vegan Watches Mykonos Vegan Watch in Black & Silver by Hurtiglane

The Mykonos Watch in Silver, White & Black by Hurtig Lane

Spanish-based vegan watches brand Hurtig Lane was founded by a British couple now living in Barcelona, who became vegan after watching Earthlings. They pride themselves on the quality of their watches. All are made with a stainless steel back and case, with no alloys (so they won’t bubble, rust or lose colour); they use IP plating which is the method used to integrates colour into the steel so it doesn’t flake or fade; and they use the Japanese Miyota movement for durability and reliability, which is guaranteed for two years. They have several men and women’s collections, which include metallic, rubber and fabric straps, as well as vegan leather. Check out their new Amalfi collection which has 64 different colour combinations. Vegan Watches Gold & Tan Brown Vegan Watch by Time IV Change

The Kaizen Watch in Tan & Gold by Time IV Change

Australian vegan watches brand Time IV Change was launched in March 2016 from a Kickstarter campaign, and has since gone from strength to strength, with a large collection of classic watch styles in vegan leather, eco-suede and Pinatex, available in 36mm and 40mm sizes. Their watch cases are from 100% recycled aluminium (much fewer greenhouse gas emissions than using ‘new’ aluminium or steel), and every TIVC watch is produced in a factory in Hong Kong that is SA8000 certified (which means in simple terms that the production team are treated and paid fairly). Their unisex Kaizen range is their signature collection and comes in a range of colours, including this classic tan that will go with just about everything.

Vegan Watches Classic Vegan Watch in Grey & Rose Gold by Aubry

The Classic Collection Watch in Rose Gold, White & Grey by Aubry

Aubry is the new vegan watches kid on the block, launching in August 2017 with a stylish collection that comprises over 50 styles, with both vegan leather and mesh straps. This Classic style comes in both 33mm and 38mm sizes, and features a rose gold-plated case, a soft white dial offset with simple rose gold markers and rose gold hands, and an adjustable soft grey vegan leather strap with a rose gold-plated buckle. All their straps are interchangeable and are easily adjustable, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

Vegan Watches New Collection Votch Black White Face Coral Strap

The New Collection Watch with Black & White Face and Coral Strap by Votch

There are so many Votch styles to choose from now, we just had to have another one in the Top 5 – and it was hard to pick which one. The Classic Petite Collection of vegan watches is definitely worth checking out for those who like a smaller watch face (33mm), but this is from the unisex New Collection vegan watches  range, which is in between at 36mm and has some beautiful strap colours, like this bright coral, which is great for summer.
